About the wine
This Merlot is made from grapes from our vineyard in Pedrinate. Fermentation and subsequent maceration take place in steel. The wine is then aged in barriques, where it ages for 32 months, followed by a further 6-month refinement in bottles before it is on the market.

Tasting note
In the robe, he shows a deep, brilliant ruby red of great intensity. The bouquet is a prime example of varietal specificity: It is characterized by an impressive complexity, in which ripe primary aromas of black cherry, juicy plum and wild blackberry are harmoniously combined. The thirty-month aging period in barriques has added noble spicy and balsamic facets to the wine, which give the wine an additional dimension. On the palate, it reveals an impressive richness and richness of extracts. The perfectly integrated, silky tannins give it aristocratic depth and nobility, while the long-lasting finale reflects the fruity and spicy aroma of the bouquet with remarkable precision.

Due to its strong stature and complex structure, this Merlot is the ideal partner for upscale gastronomy. It accompanies all types of dark meat par excellence — whether fried beef tenderloin or braised specialities. It develops its full potential, especially in combination with local game, as its spicy notes masterfully underline the wild aromas.
