About the wine
It is a white Merlot made from Mendrisiotto grapes. The whole grapes are pressed to avoid extracting color and tannin from the skins. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a low temperature. Once fermentation was complete, the new wine and all its yeasts were stored in barriques for 16 months, with bâtonnages carried out at regular intervals, followed by a further 6-month refinement in bottles before being released.

Tasting note
In the glass, it is bright straw yellow, which is interspersed with elegant golden reflections. The bouquet impresses with its impressive intensity and depth: It reveals a multi-faceted spectrum of aromas of white-fleshed stone fruit, with exotic nuances of lychee standing out elegantly. This fruit is underscored by a noble spice and subtle roasted notes, which testify to the masterful aging in wood. On the palate, the wine is powerful and present, with an excellent structure and a perfectly balanced balance, which results in a long, aristocratic finale.
Culinary recommendation
In gastronomy, this wine proves to be an extremely versatile companion. It goes perfectly with rich starters and fine sea fish, especially when accompanied by creamy sauces or classic mayonnaise, whose richness is perfectly absorbed by the structure of the wine. He is just as brilliant as a partner for aged hard cheese. Thanks to its aromatic depth and balance, it is also an excellent choice for sophisticated Asian cuisine, where it elegantly accentuates the exotic spice of the dishes.
