About the wine
What a lovely connection. Hubert Bouzereau from Meursault and Marie-France Gruère from Chassagne-Montrachet. Children of long-established winemaking families. Since 1970 with her own winery, which is now run by her daughters Marie-Laure and Marie-Anne. Not a revolution, a careful modernization. Safe in tradition, fashions are not blindly imitated here, but the old age of the vines in the 10 ha of mostly excellent locations and classic expansion are appreciated. From natural cultivation, spontaneous fermentation and moderate use of new barrels, beatifying wines are produced here with great finesse and gentleness. A secret tip.

Tasting note
King during the holidays - as soon as he calms down, he sublimly enjoys all the gold: such balanced, rich, yet never heavy orange fruit, nutty, he does not let himself go, is aware of his position and luck: the minerality gently carries. On the palate, a luxury that won't satisfy you: orange fruit, nutty, sparkling minerality, so firm in the throne: that is so balanced, stable, of course: fine structure, all freshness, all minerality dissolves into this golden splendor. It's great how this Chardonnay relaxes and unfolds its richness.

Vinification
Selective reading by hand. Fermentation with the vineyard's own yeasts, aging for 12 months in oak barrels, 25% new ones, with regular stirring of the yeast.
