About the wine
What a lovely connection. Hubert Bouzereau from Meursault and Marie-France Gruère from Chassagne-Montrachet. Children of long-established winemaking families. Since 1970 with her own winery, which is now run by her daughters Marie-Laure and Marie-Anne. Not a revolution, a careful modernization. Safe in tradition, fashions are not blindly imitated here, but the old age of the vines in the 10 ha of mostly excellent locations and classic expansion are appreciated. From natural cultivation, spontaneous fermentation and moderate use of new barrels, beatifying wines are produced here with great finesse and gentleness. A secret tip.

Tasting note
Crossing the finish line - that's the last few meters, and with every meter the tension seems lighter: deliciously chalky minerality, no more worries, but bright, joyful excitement, and certainty, there's gold beckoning: the warm orange fruit, a touch of wood, nut, and finally a whiff of vanilla spread like a fulfillment. On the palate, after initial excitement, also redemption, now everything melts into warm tears of joy: as intense, as rich this golden fruit, nut, horn, the minerality as endorphins, everything seems so light, fresh. What a big, intense, easy moment!

Vinification
Selective reading by hand. Fermentation with the vineyard's own yeasts, aging for 12 months in oak barrels, 25% new, with regular stirring of the yeast.
