About the wine

Schiefer PUR's only red wine in classic Bordeaux style, i.e. aged in 225 liter barrique barrels. Approximately 20-year-old Merlot vines from the Szapary, Reihburg and Hummergraben vineyards. Dark, tea-leaf spice, wild cherry, leather, very intense, reminiscent of Pomerol. Juicy, dense, rich in extracts and complex on the palate. Annoying and delicate at the same time, the finest use of wood, impressive length. And everything paired with Eisenberg minerals.
