Mazer Valtellina Superiore DOCG 2022 - Nino Negri

Maintaining tradition while introducing improvements is a difficult task. The long-time oenologist from Nino Negri, Danilo Drocco, tackled this with flying colors. His wine from the Inferno appellation has a structure typical of Nebbiolo; when aged in small oak barrels, it gains even more complexity. The nose reveals complex, delicate aromas that suggest soft fruits, floral, spicy notes and a subtle roasted aroma. By limiting earnings and targeted expansion, he also gives the Mazér a stuffed robe and lots of enamel. The result: a dense, concentrated wine without weak points.
