Tasting note
In the glass, the Essencia is an intense, deep ruby red with garnet reflections. On the nose, a complex bouquet of ripe dark berries, cherries and plums unfolds, complemented by notes of vanilla, cocoa, cedarwood and a touch of spices. On the palate, it impresses with a silky texture, perfectly integrated tannins and elegant freshness. The aroma is intense and persistent, with nuances of dried fruit, chocolate and a mineral aftertaste that reflects the terroir. A wine with exceptional depth and complexity, which impresses with its harmony and longevity.
Culinary recommendation
Essencia is the perfect companion for special occasions and culinary highlights. It goes well with braised lamb legs, game dishes such as venison or deer, and hearty beef stew. It is also delicious with aged hard cheese, truffle dishes or dark chocolate.
Vinification
This exclusive red wine is the result of a careful selection of the best vintages, which have matured under optimal conditions in the winery's cellar. Only the most exceptional wines, which have proven their quality and shelf life over the years, are selected for this composition. These are 1996/1999 and 2000. The grapes come from the oldest and most exquisite plots, whose soil conditions and microclimate provide the perfect basis for a masterpiece of winemaking. The hand harvest is followed by careful processing before the wine matures in fine French and American oak barrels. This is where its aromas unfold, refine over the years and create a unique balance between fruit and elegance.
