About the wine
With the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 — Marciliano IGT, nuances and accents are redefined. Graceful and fertile landscapes in Umbria give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Falesco conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this Cabernet Sauvignon with pizza with mushrooms or red meat.
Tasting note
The color is deep red with purple reflections. The scent is complex and warm, with notes of ripe blackberries and an almost beguiling, spicy taste. On the palate, Cabernet typically strong and full-bodied. With a wonderful tannin structure and lots of juice. Long, spicy aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with venison with spaetzli, red cabbage and glazed chestnuts.
Vinification
Expert work in the vineyard, including thinning the grapes in summer, aims to limit the yield to 600-800 g of grapes per vine. The grapes are selected individually by experts. The vinification then begins. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by a 16-month aging in Never and Troncais barriques.
