About the wine
Kozlovic vineyards — valley in front of the winery and first-class plots on a single vineyard near Buje — Santa Lucia — are carefully maintained and nourished from generation to generation. Therefore, the vineyards, the family and the winery form the same core. The story began in 1904. In the valley crossed by the Argilla spring, with our ancestors, our family still lives and works in Valle next to the vineyards and with them. Today, we plant native varieties — Malvazia, Muscat Momiano, Muscat Rose and Teran. We grow Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from international varieties. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand.

Tasting note
A classic and the calling card of the Kozlovic winery. Malvazija Istarska (Istrian Malvasia 100%) is a mild, pale lemon color with golden reflections. In the nose, he shows his youth and varietal characteristics from the very first breath. This freshness characteristic of the 2023 harvest blends well with floral aromas and notes of grapefruit and shows the direction and straightness of the wine. Aromas of continental fruits, orange blossoms, pears and lemons can also be heard. Completely dry on the palate, with crispy freshness. It also has a touch of sophisticated oiliness, a moderate body, and a mild spiciness. Malvasia 2023 has a wonderful flavor intensity, which is complemented by the apricot characteristic of the variety. Even after the first sip, the duration in your mouth is long, fruity and, as always, delicious saltiness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with local Istrian seafood, especially white fish and risotto. It goes well with white poultry and slightly spicy Asian cuisine.
