About the wine
Motivated by his enthusiasm for good wines, Andrea Davaz founded von Salis AG in 1994 with two friends. You cultivate around two hectares of your own vines in the Bündner Herrschaft. You also buy from over 60 winegrowers in Fläsch, Maienfeld, Jenins, Malans, Zizers and Trimmis. The Bündner grapes grow there on more than 50 hectares, making the wines something special.

Tasting note
On the charming nose, fruity raspberry notes, some spice and also some wild herbs, fresh, elegantly flowing on the palate, aromas of ripe wild berries, rose hips and a hint of licorice, very smooth until the balanced finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Bündner Platte, Bündner specialties and meat dishes.
Vinification
Short mash heating for better yield of dyes and ingredients. Fermentation with pure yeast for approx. 7 days. Expansion in stainless steel tanks.
