Tasting note
Die Aromen des Magma IGP von Leder, Zimt und Gewürznelke drücken viel Charakter mit einer ganz besonderen Struktur aus. Im Anschluss zeigen die erfrischenden Nuancen von wilder Erdbeere und schwarzer Kirsche ihren eigenen Charakter. Das bleibt im Gedächtnis: Sein elegantes Rubinrot verleiht jedem Anlass eine extravagante Note. Mit verhalten angenehm ausgebauten Tanninen, leichtem Körper und dominanter Säure präsentiert dieser Rotwein seine einwandfreie Beschaffenheit.
Culinary recommendation
Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Magma IGP harmoniert ausgezeichnet mit sizilianischen Pastagerichten und Rindsgulasch.
Vinification
Selective reading and sorting by hand. Long maceration of 50 days of the destemmed and slightly crushed berries and fermentation with the vineyard's own yeasts in steel tanks, aging for 18 months first in steel tanks and then over 18 months on the bottle in the winery, unembellished, only light filtration before bottling. Depending on the year, little sulfurization of between 15 and 50 mg/l or no sulfurization. Production per year: around 2,000 bottles
