About the wine
2021 was a challenging year with lots of moisture and heavy mildew pressure — the Riesling harvest was correspondingly small. Sylvie Spielmann therefore decided to combine the grapes from the Grasberg, Burg and Engelgarten vineyards into a single cuvée. The name “Cuvée Ronde” — based on a Burgundian term — stands for the harmonious combination of different terroirs. A finely balanced Riesling with the salty minerality of the Grasberg, the abundance of the castle and the airy elegance of the Angel Garden. Excellent aging potential.

Tasting note
Pale yellow Elegant and expressive dry Riesling with notes of citrus and anise. Wonderfully balanced and harmonious in the mouth. An excellent lager wine that is characterized by the airy elegance of the Angel Garden, the maturity of the castle and the salty minerality of the Grasberg.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with fish and seafood, Asian cuisine, asparagus or fresh goat cheese. It is also a perfect accompaniment to dishes with light sauces or fine herbs.
