About the wine
It's safe to say that Château D'Esclans is the only rosé producer who can achieve this wine style with such concentration. During a blind tasting, most sommeliers and wine experts would assume that it was a white burgundy such as Meursault or Chassagne-Montrachet. A rosé that is available when young but can still be stored.

Tasting note
A very bright, transparent, pale rosé aroma of ripe red berries with notes of roasted and hazelnuts. Ripe pineapple and ginger dominate the palate. Opulent and exotic. There are also notes of black licorice. Full-bodied yet elegant. A stylish wine.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with tuna steak and ratatouille.
Vinification
100% fermentation in new and one to two year old 600 liter French oak barrels. Ageing at controlled temperature and “bâtonnage” (stirring) the yeast. Ageing in barrels for eleven months. Extensive contact with yeast thanks to later filling and barrel aging.
