Tasting note
Deep garnet red color. Vivid aromas of blackberries, plums, fresh cherries and a touch of cassis and spices. On the palate, it starts with sweet fruit, followed by a delicious complexity of red and black fruit pastilles. Firm tannins and balanced acidity help create a luscious, medium-strength mouthfeel. A long finish is accompanied by notes of dark chocolate, black cherry and cedarwood. A classic Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon.

Goes well with all dark meat dishes.
Vinification
The grapes are selected from a variety of locations within Stellenbosch. We select the best soils and locations and mix the vineyards together to create an expression of the terroirs of Stellenbosch. Five days of fermentation in an open tank with temperature control and regular manual punch-downs and pump-over. The malolactic fermentation took place in lined concrete tanks, then the wine was transferred to 225 liter barrels. The aging took place for 22 months in oak barrels, 12% of which were new.
