Tasting note
The grapes for this single-varietal Chardonnay come from the single vineyard “Les Monthouzons” in the 1er Cru municipality of Trois Puits, aged in used 350 lt. barrels. Mineral-fruity nose with aromas of juicy peach, ripe carambola, Meyer lemon and some ginger, underpinned with notes of chalk powder, hawthorn and delicate smoke tones. It also shows finely smoky minerality on the palate, with good pressure and great, fruity freshness.
Culinary recommendation
A wonderful blanc de blanc for an aperitif, which also goes great with fish and seafood, such as fried sea bass grenobler style or “moules marinières”, but also with fine white wine risotto.
