About the wine
The fertile and blooming landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Gabriele Scaglione conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. If you're looking for something special, then you can't miss out on this dominant Chardonnay 2012 — Langhe Bianco Ellis DOC. Tasting note
Intense straw yellow in the glass. Smells of white fruits, flowers and vanilla beans Generous palate with good structure. A white wine for explorers and demanding connoisseurs!
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with poultry, fish dishes with herbs and asparagus.
Vinification
The selected grapes are harvested manually at the beginning of September and then gently pressed. The arneis is then fermented in steel tanks for ten months and the Chardonnay in used barriques for at least twelve months. The two wines are then brought together and mature together for a further two years.
