La Unica Tinto 2011 - Felix Solis

This plant is as unique as the concept behind it and the labels individually created by artist Mariano Rinaldi Goñi. “It was one of those quiet moments that became so rare in our hectic world?” , is written as a document for the moment when three people met to do something different. The idea turned into a wine that sees the light for the 2nd time with the 2011 vintage and already enjoys a special status: Many want it, but only a few get it, as production is limited to 2600 bottles. The whole range and richness of aromas that the grape varieties, the different terroirs and the wine aging can express are combined in the bouquet: berry fruit (blackcurrant, cherry), the fine ageing aromas, which are very well integrated. Notes of black tea, violets and forest soil round off the intense sensory impression on the nose. The result can be seen in the further course, where a powerful body with juicy tannins, which still have some rough edges in youth, is presented. It announces a fruity structure and an aromatic persistence on the palate. The finale is convincing: complex, profound, long-lasting.
