About the wine
The winery in Sambuca di Sicilia was founded in the 90s by Alessio, Francesca and Santi Planeta. With the support of oenologist Carlo Corino († 2007), it quickly developed into a top company. On 360 hectares in six wine-growing zones in Sicily, autochthonous and international grape varieties are cultivated optimally adapted to the soil.

Tasting note
In the glass, this Nero d'Avola is bright ruby red with purple reflections. The bouquet is typically complex: ripe plums, wild berries and fine cocoa notes blend with spicy notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, juicy and harmonious with velvety tannins. Delicate aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal accompaniment to classic Sicilian cuisine: with fresh pasta and Mediterranean starters, light meat dishes, vegetables or even fish.
Vinification
Mash fermentation for 14 days at 25°C and aging and maturing in stainless steel tanks.
