Tasting note
The 2018 Red Estate has a more expressive nose than the 2017, with impetuous blackberry, blueberry and more floral scents that did not exist in the previous vintage. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy black fruits. A fine Bordeaux blend with a good pinch of black pepper on the finish. Excellent
Culinary recommendation
In combination with delicious grilled meat or hearty poultry such as duck, red wine is a real treat for the palate. Even in combination with hard cheese, the cuvée offers maximum drinking pleasure.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully sorted and then mashed and fermented. After pressing, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and then matures for 15 months in 40% new French oak barrels, while the remaining 60% is aged in used barrels. Estate Red is then assembled and bottled.
