Kelder Chenin Blanc 2022 - A.A. Badenhorst Wines

Medium straw yellow - fresh nose with notes of green apple and white flowers. Even on the palate with a nice freshness, which is due to the fact that the grapes ripen earlier in this vineyard and therefore have higher acidity when harvested. The “Kelder” location was vinfied separately for the first time in 2018 and adds another exciting drop to Badenhorst's Single Vineyard series. Originally, the vineyard was not constantly planted with chenin — Palomino, Clairette Blanche and Muscat d'Alexandrie vines were also found, some of which probably still contribute some of their character today.
