Connoisseurs who live their passion without even thinking about a business - which then starts innocently. For Niko Dukan, tastings and winery visits are followed by letters, for Kreso Petrekovic, the import of his beloved Croatian wines to New York - today perhaps the largest natural wine retailer in the USA. Together, the two launched Karakterre, the most important salon for natural wines in 2012, in order to finally follow the call of the vines and make their own wine alone and together in projects. At Vinas Mora, they are looking for the best, barren soils, surrounded by loosely piled walls, so that some floor support is formed at all, protected from the wind. Together with the winegrowers, they intervene as little as possible in the vineyard and cellar and bring the passionate, joyfully crazy side of the autochthonous Babiæ into the bottle. Terroir wines - which reflect soil, vines, culture like hardly any other, a gift!
