Tasting note
The Just Cuvée is a sparkling ruby red with purple reflections. On the nose, it delights with fruity aromas of ripe plums, black cherries, cassis and blackberries as well as spicy notes of nougat, black chocolate, pipe tobacco and a hint of mint. On the palate, it is extremely juicy, complex and dense with intense fruit aromas, a sweet acidity, velvety tannins and a seemingly endless finish. A top cuvée from Austria's sunny parlour with lots of strength and drinking flow, which is great fun even when drunk young but also has great storage potential.

Goes well with hearty meat dishes, barbecues, game, Austrian specialities, stews.
Vinification
This cuvée is a joint production by Bernhard Ernst and the sommelier team from Siebe Dupf Winery. Following the launch of Just Zweigelt in 2018, this is now the second work that Siebe Dupf is allowed to create with Bernhard. Grapes from Bernhard Ernst's top vineyards around Deutschkreutz were carefully selected and vinified separately at the winery. It was aged for almost 14 months in French oak wood (partly in barriques and partly in large wooden barrels). In January 2019, the barrel samples were assembled by a Siebe Dupf delegation in Deutschkreutz together with Bernhard Ernst to create this exclusive top cuvée. The wine was bottled only very lightly filtered at the end of March 2019. Merlot gives the cuvée a lot of charm and a pleasant velvety. The Blaufränkisch brings structure, freshness and elegance and the Zweigelt contributes its typically youthful and juicy sour selenium fruit. The backbone is Cabernet Sauvignon with its strong structure, velvety tannins and irresistible cassis fruit.
