This provocative Garganega 2017 — iL Disperato Bianco delle Venezie IGT crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Beautiful and blooming landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Buglioni conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Garganega with poultry or light antipasti.

Tasting note
Mariano Buglioni calls his white wine “il Disperato”, the desperate one, which he presses from the grapes of a small plot of Garganega vines grown in pergola. They searched desperately and unsuccessfully for a name for the new white wine and finally stuck to “il Disperato”, which in German simply means “the desperate one.” Fermentation takes 15 days, and some residual sugar is often left behind. This is followed by a five-month expansion in steel tanks. The wine is completely unpretentious, accessible and likeable. It shows floral-fruity notes, tremendous freshness and stimulating vivacity. The ideal aperitif wine.

Goes well with aperitifs, antipasti, fish, charcuterie.
Vinification
Ein paar Worte zur Vinifikation: Die Gärung dauert 15 Tage, gerne wird etwas Restzucker belassen. Dann folgt ein viermonatiger Ausbau im Stahltank.
