About the wine
Straffe Hendrik Heritage is a special version of the famous Straffe Hendrik Quadruple. The heavy, dark beer ages in oak barrels of various origins for at least one year. Each year, a unique selection is added to the barrels, resulting in a unique master blend. This barrel-aged beer can be stored for up to ten years. The beer is only produced once a year in a limited edition.

Tasting note
Intense dark brown Depending on the origin of the barrels in which the beer matures, various aromas are perceived. In addition to new wood from the USA and France, used whiskey, rum, Bordeaux and Calvados barrels are also used. The tannins from the barrels harmonize with the rich notes of the special malts in beer. In combination with the subtle taste of wood aging, the typical spiciness and bitterness of the quadruple reappears.
Culinary recommendation
Goes wonderfully with game, poultry, beef and rich desserts.
