About the wine
It's only been back at the forefront for a few years, but that's no wonder, but thanks to the courageous Daniel Wagner. After taking over his parents' winery in the 1990s, with passion and unwavering confidence, he led the winery with its excellent locations (15 ha) back to the top of Rheinhessen, where it was 100 years ago. Year after year, Daniel Wagner and his team work out the special features of the volcanic sites more precisely; the work in the vineyard (certified organic) is exemplary! Vibrant, mineral white wines, distinctive and large.

Tasting note
Anesthesia - so gentle and rapturous, the sweetness, the bright, full, yellow fruit, a touch of boytritis, in it this dreamy, bizarre lightness, tart, mineral freshness, a whiff of green peppers, lie soft, fly softly. On the palate again, this feeling of wellbeing, floating in, carrying this rich sweetness, the fruit fused with the fine acidity and the tart notes, as if on thick clouds, like in a bizarre dream. So good!

Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Heerkretz Riesling Auslese BIO passt perfekt zu Crevetten, asiatischem Essen und Pilzen.
Vinification
Selective late harvest of berries with (incipient) botrytis. Aging in stainless steel tanks and traditional, old piece casks.
