About the wine
With Haymaker, Cameron Woodbridge has succeeded in a further step in its tradition of Wolf`s Head Wines. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz was aged over 4 years in French oak barrels and a further 6 years in the bottle and produced an astonishingly dense and structured wine.

Tasting note
Pomegranate color Sweet aromas of red cherries, blackberries, violets, anise and dried herbs. Medium-bodied with aromas of blackberry cake, chocolate, cedarwood and licorice with a long, dry finish.
Vinification
Fermented in stainless steel tanks. The temperature during fermentation Is kept below 80 degrees with it A prolonged maceration occurs. The malolactic fermentation took place In barrels aged on lees for at least one year. 48 months expanded into new and used French barriques and more 72 months bottle aging
