Tasting note
The nose shows aromas of ripe yellow fruits, a hint of net melon and pleasant herbal spice in the background, delicately underlaid with blossom honey. Elegant texture, underlaid with fine fruit sweetness, delicate acidity. Very juicy, with good length and great promise for the future.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with melon with raw ham, vegetable soups, poached fresh and saltwater fish with white wine sauce, poultry, white meat.
Vinification
Angaben über Vinifizierung: Die handge- und verlesenen Trauben werden sehr behutsam in stapelbare Kisten gelegt, anschliessend im Keller noch einmal sortiert und in den alten Gewölben des Weinkellers sofort mit geringstem Druck pneumatisch gepresst. Die Fermentation und der Ausbau erfolgt in neuen großen Holzfässern aus den Eichenwäldern vom Manhartsberg.
