Tasting note
Ice wine is a gift of winter and Schloss Gobelsburg gets it almost every year at a temperature of at least —7°C. It is a sweet and long-lasting treat in the glass, with a slightly spicy spice (the “pepper”!) and a wonderful acidity that makes the mouth water flow together. The concentration of all grape attributes is captured in the wine with the aromas of almond paste, saffron, mint, passion fruit and dried apricots, lilies and magnolias. A heavenly treat!
