About the wine
Hans Nittnaus is a thought leader, a visionary, and a gifted winemaker. Anita and Hans run the 30-hectare winery biodynamically, the wines are full of life, extremely precise and completely unvarnished, also thanks to the very careful use of wood and the very moderate extraction. His son Martin goes even further towards minimal intervention. Fining, filtering, even the addition of sulfur are questioned here. At Nittnaus, you're never completely satisfied, always looking for the perfect interpretation of the terroir and so often what you're looking for! Tiny and highly decorated with international awards and also a winemaker and winery of hearts!

Tasting note
Drama and beauty. There is something going on here, you smell it, you taste it, among the beautiful, ripe, oranges, rich, intense fruit, fresh and light too, it bubbles, starts like a force of nature, full earthy seasoning, herbs, even animal notes, horn, everything rising from the depths. On the palate, the drama takes its course, gently beginning, then increasing, past the perfect world, the deception, now everything comes out, the drama takes its course, fresh, herbal, peppery, earthy and mineral, what an intense, ripe, distinctive game, tart, fresh, peppery until the end. Wonderfully dramatic, harmonious Grüner Veltliner, intense, great spectacle and a treat for everyone!

Vinification
Selective reading by hand. Spontaneous fermentation, aging and aging take place in 600l wooden barrels, no fining, no filtration, minimal sulfurization.
