Tasting note
The flagship in the Griesel range is called Grande Cuvee and always comes from one year. It is only brought to market after 46 months without sulfur and dosage. The current vintage is 2018 and you can also feel that in the wine. Already on the nose, it is impressively present with aromas of fresh bread crust and baked brioche. In the mouth, there are also notes of quince and an incredibly salty palate. The finish is long and complex. An outstanding sparkling wine.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal as a top-class aperitif, with oysters, caviar, scallops, sashimi, fine poultry or creamy risotto. Also perfect with goat cheese, truffle dishes or as a stylish accompaniment to an entire menu.
