About the wine
The winemaker from the French winery Beaugrand greets us with this wine, which he grows in the Champagne countryside. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this sparkling wine with crustaceans or fish dishes.

Tasting note
The grapes for this single-varietal Chardonnay come from a plot that is roughly in the shape of a large square, hence the name. The base wine was completely aged in steel tanks and disgorged after around 36 months of bottle aging. The nose features aromas of citrus fruits, mirabelles, crunchy apples and subtly exotic tones, framed with notes of white flowers and a touch of toffee. Showing crisp freshness on the palate, with juicy fruit and a mineral, finely spicy chalk touch in the finale.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal as an aperitif, which, with its mineral-spicy note, is also ideal with raw marinated fish, mussels and crustaceans, such as the classic “moules marinières”, or delicate langostinos with champagne beurre blanc.
