About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Mengoba has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and refinement are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the magnificent and enchanting landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). Tasting note
Distinctive aromas of apple and chamomile contrast with noticeable biscuit notes that come from aging in yeast storage. In the mouth with a fresh start. The creamy body interacts beautifully with the crunchy acidity. The finish is long and with salty notes and a delicate bitterness typical of the variety.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with poultry, sushi and fish.
Vinification
Hand harvesting and careful selection, gentle pressing and fermentation at low temperature. The wine is then stored in 4000 liter foudres on fine yeast for 12 months, with weekly battonage.
