About the wine
This is a Primitivo that you rarely taste - unspoiled by residual sugar, pure in fruit and fresh! 100% organically produced in the heart of the home of this grape - the Gioia Del Colle region in Puglia - without added sulfites and without fining or filtration to get the maximum flavor of this wonderful grape and terroir. During his 6 months in Slavonian oak barrels, the winemaker even plays music with this wine to optimize the micro-oxygenation process!
Tasting note
Intense bouquet of ripe cherries, plums and black berries, complemented by nuances of tobacco, leather, cocoa and Mediterranean herbs. Full-bodied and velvety on the palate, with smooth tannins, fine spiciness and a remarkable balance between power and elegance. The long, aromatic finish leaves a warm, lasting fullness.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with hearty meat dishes such as lamb chops, game ragout or braised beef, as well as spicy pasta dishes and aged hard cheese.
