The calcareous, loamy soils in Burgundy offer the winemaker from the French winery Domaine A.F. Gros everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. Tasting note
Elegant and smooth Gevrey Chambertin with silky tannins, a wonderfully fresh bouquet of wild red berries. On the palate, it is wonderfully juicy. A wine with energy, depth and a long aftertaste.

Vinification
Domaine A.F Gros harvests exclusively by hand. Winemaking takes place in enamelled concrete tanks and in wooden barrels. Cold maceration (5°C) for three to five days promotes the extraction of aromas and color. Two thirds of this wine is aged in oak barrels from the Chatillonnais and Fontainebleau forests for 18 months (50% new barrels).
