About the wine
The fertile and picturesque landscapes of the Aosta Valley give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery La Crotta di Vegneron conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. With the special Fumin Vallée d'Aoste DOC from 2015, you will positively surprise your friends.

Tasting note
Crimson with purple reflections. The persistent bouquet combines notes of precious spices (white pepper, cloves), dark cherries and subtle vanilla aromas. Warm and full on the palate on fresh tannins. A full-bodied wine, complex and elegant, long-lasting in the finish and aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game dishes, braised beef, lamb, hearty mushroom dishes, polenta with mountain cheese or aged alpine cheese. Also ideal for alpine cuisine with bacon and chestnuts.
Vinification
Vinification in steel tanks, fermentation is temperature-controlled at 28° - 30°, maceration lasts 15 days. Aging in wooden barrels of various sizes for 12 months.
