Friulano Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC 2021 - Ronchi di Manzano

The Ronchi di Manzano winery is one of the quality leaders in Friuli. Responsible in this white wine paradise on the border with Austria and Slovenia is the dedicated Roberta Borghese, who gained her experience in Champagne and California (Dominus), among others. She is particularly proud of Friulano, which she describes as the crowning achievement of her collection. It comes from the oldest vineyard on the estate and is aged in oak barrels. This gives it an additional flavor dimension. An attractive almond bouquet is typical of Friulano. The aromatic richness with floral scent, ripe fruit, pear, minerals and hazelnuts make it the ideal accompaniment to antipasto, asparagus and Parma ham.
