Tasting note
In its complex bouquet, the Ulysses impresses with a springing burgundy fruit. Notes of dark fruits such as blackberries, cherries and plums, accompanied by fine subtle wood and tobacco notes from barrique aging. Playful on the palate, fruity at the start, followed by a transition to an ever more blossoming pinot noir aroma. Ending with finely polished tannins, elegance and great length.
Culinary recommendation
Pork, veal, beef, lamb or game dishes, aged cheese and Bündner specialities.
Vinification
Highly ripe and selected Pinot Noir grapes are aged in barriques for 12 months.
