About the wine
The wine god Bacchus must be kind to Christian Hermann: He is completely satisfied with the quality of his grapes. On a total of 4.3 hectares, he grows mainly Pinot Noir, but also Chardonnay in Fläsch, in the Bündner Herrschaft. In doing so, he likes to measure himself against the standard of the flagship areas of his main grape varieties, Burgundy. Since his first vintage in 1990, he has consistently pursued two goals with his work in the vineyard and in the cellar: His wines should be strong characters and there is no compromise when it comes to quality.

Tasting note
The aromas of mushrooms and caramel candy express a lot of complexity with a very unique structure. The playful nuances of raspberry, cherry and vanilla then reveal their own character. Medium-bodied and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which shows a lot of character and class, pleasantly with fine tannins in the mouth.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with duck, cheese and red meat. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: vintage + 9 years.

Information on vinification: 100% matured in new (114 liter) barrique for 13 months.
