Finca La Pedrissa Terra Alta DO 2016 - Edetaria

The Edetària Winery is located in the Terra Alta region, which borders the famous DO Priory. It is influenced by Joan Llibera, an inspired and clever Catalan winemaker. His main focus is on working in the old vineyards and the feat of producing balanced, fresh wines in the dry-hot region. Joan is an advocate of autochthonous grape varieties, i.e. the traditionally local grape varieties, especially Garnacha Peluda, a variant with particularly good water storage capacity. In the case of the outstanding Finca La Pedrissa vineyard wine, the Carinena grape shows what it is able to express here. This is a mini production of old vines from a special individual plot and at the same time truly top-class Terra Alta and Spain.
