About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the South African winery Noble Hill masters this red wine in the sunny and graceful landscape of the coastal region. Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Shiraz with roasted vegetables or barbecue.

Tasting note
Reminiscent of fresh black cherries, licorice and black pepper. The wine is delicate, soft and balanced. The oak is well integrated. Produced using natural processes, there may be some sedimentation in the bottle.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled beef and lamb, hearty pasta dishes, Mediterranean cuisine and semi-hard to mature cheese.
Vinification
When harvested, the fruits are sorted by hand, slightly crushed and cold soaked so that the aromas and colors in the skins of the grapes can be absorbed gently and naturally into the wine. A significant proportion of whole grapes is added to fermentation for partial carbonic acid maceration. The wine is supplied with oxygen daily through reassembly and délestage before being transferred to large-format concrete tanks and 225 l French oak barrels at the end of the main fermentation. The wine ages for 18 months before being bottled.
