About the wine
Marc de Grazia bought the winery over 15 years ago and found a worldwide community of enthusiasts with his single-layer red wines within a few years. In the meantime, the focus is also on white wines and not to forget the Rosato. The Tenuta delle Terre Nere is located on the northern flanks of Mount Etna in Sicily. The estate covers an area of 30 hectares and is divided into ten plots and four crus (Calderara Sottana, Guardiola, Feudo di Mezzo, Santo Spirito). Most vines are between 50 and 100 years old. One plot is even planted with 140-year-old vines, which survived phylloxera back then.

Tasting note
Youthful ruby red. In the bouquet, the clear fruit harmonizes perfectly with the mineral notes. Complex on the palate, full-bodied, extremely elegant and fresh. A generous wine with lots of personality.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended for Sicilian pasta dishes and beef goulash.
Vinification
The Guardiola site is 2.1 hectares in size and is located at 800-900 meters above sea level. After 10-15 days of maceration, the wine matures in barriques for 18 months (of which a quarter is in the first use).
