About the wine

The biodynamic winery has been owned by Roland and Karin Lenz since 1994. It is located in idyllic Iselisberg in the canton of Thurgau and, with an area of 27 hectares, is one of the largest Demeter wineries in Switzerland. In addition to various nut and fruit trees, cereals such as spelt, buckwheat and oats, as well as wild herbs, they cultivate 22 hectares of cultivated vineyards together with their team. The family business deliberately uses sustainable, mushroom-resistant grape varieties that can fully mature in the local microclimate, because only optimally ripe and healthy grapes are processed at the energy-autonomous organic winery.
