About the wine
Enchanting and graceful landscapes of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon) give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas y Viñedos Valderiz creates this red wine with refinement and experience. We have a special, presentable Tempranillo from 2017 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. The Flaschenpöstler promise a dining experience when you serve this Tempranillo with red meat or polenta.

Tasting note
On the nose, Valderiz develops a complex bouquet with aromas of ripe cherries, cassis, black cherries, warm stones as well as fine notes of wood and cocoa. On the palate, it is full-bodied with robust, well-integrated tannins and concentrated fruitiness. The aftertaste is long-lasting and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
This red wine goes well with grilled or braised beef, lamb dishes, game and aged hard cheese.
Vinification
The grapes come from vines that are over 30 years old and grow on calcareous soils. After harvesting, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in 300-liter French oak barrels for 19 months and in the bottle for a further 6 months before being sold.
