About the wine
Ego Bodegas has 25 hectares of vineyards, with varieties such as Petit Verdot, Syrah and Monastrell. Some of the vines are over 50 years old. They are situated in a privileged location in the Jumilla area. The Ego Bodegas is not far from the city of Murcia.

Tasting note
Purple color with purple reflections. Wonderful bouquet with aromas of red and black fruits, lingonberries, currants, powerful herbal spices and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, Don Baffo is wonderfully creamy, with melty tannins, wonderful fruit-herb balance, and shows a lot of power. The aftertaste is beautifully soft and elegant.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled meats, especially beef and lamb, as well as with hearty stews and aged cheese. Also ideal with Mediterranean tapas or grilled dishes that underline the fruit and spice of the wine.
Vinification
After fermentation, the wine is stored in American and French oak barrels for about four months to round off the tannins and give the wine additional depth and fine roasted aromas.
