About the wine
Since the 1960s, the Perrone family has been passionately producing wine in the hills of Piedmont. Today, Mauro Perrone runs the winery in the second generation and specializes in wines with strong character, such as this Barbera d'Asti. Careful vinification with controlled fermentation and gentle maceration produces a fruity, expressive wine — an authentic Barbera from a prime location.

Tasting note
Ruby red with purple reflections. Fruity on the nose with distinct floral notes. On the palate, tannic with pleasant moderate acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with Italian cuisine such as pasta with sugo, lasagna, pizza with spicy toppings or grilled vegetables. Also perfect with stews, polenta with mushrooms or aged cheese such as pecorino or taleggio.
Vinification
During maceration, pumping is carried out at regular intervals, favoring contact of the skins with the must to increase the extraction of tannins, anthocyanins and the characteristic Dolcetto aromas. Ageing in stainless steel tanks and a short time in the bottle.
