About the wine
More than 100 years of viticulture. Since 1978, the Gianfranco Gallo family has run Vie di Romans, located between the Adriatic Sea and the Alps in Marino de Friuli. And he not only runs it, he leads it at the helm of Friuli. Because they work meticulously here, plus very slow fermentation, long yeast storage, and approval only two years after the harvest. The extremely long-lasting white wines have a sumptuous elegance and intense, exciting harmony that is not otherwise found in this perfection. Despite an impressive 60 ha and several 100,000 bottles, it is difficult to get around; these wines are too unusual, too outstanding, too popular.

Tasting note
Albino whale - an authority, an exotic that pushes itself powerfully through the ocean, peace and strength, also has something immensely peaceful, warm, almost harmless, the apricot-colored fruit that also reminds of flowers, and yet that is full of power, lush harmony, only in reverberation the danger, the hunter, the only translucent, sharp minerality. On the palate, too, a powerful, soft, weightless flow, lush fruit, including yeasts, tannins, and a gentle spiciness at the end. Powerful, majestic Pinot Grigio that won't be easily upset!

Vinification
Very selective reading by hand. Temperature-controlled slow fermentation of destemmed and crushed berries with selected yeasts in large barrels, 10 months storage on fine yeast, 8 months bottle aging.
