About the wine
The “Canaan Red” refers to sweet fruits such as cherries and plums, with notes of black pepper and a touch of vanilla. With a medium body and light tannin content, this wine is very easy to drink. The wine consists of a blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Syrah. During warm fermentation, the skins are doused with the must several times a day to obtain an even deeper colour and a more mature taste. This red wine is not suitable for aging, but it can also be enjoyed a certain time after purchase. Try the wine with fried poultry, shepherd's pie or a creamy risotto.
