About the wine
Château d'Esclans, the Grenache and Rolle (Vermentino) winery wine, combines the various production methods of our wines, fermentation in stainless steel and in barrels, and is characterized by a unique blend of freshness and complexity, which makes it a full-bodied rosé with a soft and creamy texture that is rich and lingers on the palate for a long time.

Tasting note
An extremely transparent, pale shade of rose. Predominance of floral notes followed by red berries. A whiff of vanilla and pear. A soft, creamy texture. Multi-faceted and long-lasting on the palate. Balanced. A complex and elegant wine that may recall the subtlety of a blanc de blanc champagne.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with seafood risotto, roast duck.
Vinification
50% stainless steel tanks and 50% 600-liter French oak barrels. In both cases, aging at a controlled temperature and “bâtonnage” (stirring) of the yeast. Aging on yeast in tanks and barrels for seven months. Extensive contact with yeast thanks to later filling and barrel aging.
