About the wine
L'Enfant Terrible de la Rhône! Or at least that was François Villard when he planted his first vines as a career changer at the end of the 80s and really stirred up the wine scene in the northern Rhône. Quickly hailed as a shooting star back then, he is still one of the most recognized and established winemakers in the region today. His wines inspire and fascinate. They are always full of intensity and power, but are never too lush or bulky. Total enthusiasm guaranteed!

Tasting note
Poème de la Bohème - Refreshing, the mix of exotic and fully ripe yellow fruit, passion fruit, pineapple, even Williams pear, some candied orange, almost excessive, floral with violet and bush rose, back on the ground of facts with a touch of cedarwood and nutmeg. Unbelievably dramatic on the palate, a bomb, at first glance, then wandering around, elegant like a wild street cat, with incredibly beautiful, rocky-salty minerality, freshness, balanced and very long-lasting. A poem, close your eyes and enjoy.
Vinification
Selective reading by hand. Pressed directly and fermented each plot individually with the vineyard's own yeasts in temperature-controlled barrels, aged for 11 months in large oak barrels (foudres) on the yeast without stirring.
