Tasting note
A seductive nose of cinnamon, tobacco, vanilla and beguiling fully ripe fruit. On the palate with an initially powerful start, then soft and harmonious, spicy and ripe, again lots of cooked fruit and with a winy-sweet finish. It is long and pleasant.
Culinary recommendation
A versatile wine that is perfect with barbecues, Spanish tapas, hearty pasta dishes and aged hard cheeses. Thanks to its lively acidity, freshness and expressive structure, it is just as suitable for convivial evenings, where it impresses with its sophisticated yet powerful presence.
Vinification
Manual harvesting and subsequent fermentation in steel tanks. Half of the wines are aged over 12 months in American and French oak. This involves the use of barrels of different ages and toasts to achieve great complexity without the roasted aromas dominating.
